Setup Monitoring and Operations process and tools for the DC and DR setupDefining user roles and permission in vCenter, based on the level of access requiredPlanning Backup/Restore strategy for 24x7 operation supportTesting / Auditing/processes as required from time to timeSuggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security levelWork independently and as a member of a team of consultants on engagements with customers, often in a technical leadership roleDocument best practices in developing and deploying VMware solutions and upload in the knowledge base for reuse by customers and partnersProven experience with IT automation systems (BMC, HP, IBM/Tivoli, CA)Hardware: Hands on Servers (HP/DELL/HP/IBM)Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business and technical objectives and product requirements in order to develop effective solutionsProvide architectural guidance and oversight into integration of VMware products with third party products within the customer’s IT environment: Storage, networking, systems management capacity management and monitoring, high availability solutions and security infrastructuresSoft Skills:Good Documentation Skills and Presentation SkillsTeam Work and Strong leadership SkillsShould have good customer handling skillsDriving HCL’s value and its methodologyBuilding and maintaining good relationship with the stakeholdersAdditional Information
