Chantilly, VA , area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prioritize requirements based on the needs of the projectInteract with other team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate informationProvide insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers’ requirementsWork with engineers on troubleshooting and building complex, highly available cyber security network topologiesPerform engineering support and system administration of applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back-up/restoreProvide Tier 2/3 maintenance and engineering support for deployed technologiesSupport Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicableIdentify potential conflicts with implementation of any cybersecurity tools within the enterprise and develop recommendations to remediate these conflictsProvide ideas for automating repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripts and assist with testing/implementation to productionOther project and corporate duties as assigned to support the customerBasic Qualifications:Minimum education: B.S. or relevant experience in related fieldMinimum/general experience: 7+ years of related cyber security network experience (seims, firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers)A solid understanding of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts is requiredExperience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor cyber security network equipment and solutions, including Juniper, F5, and NutanixAbility to thrive in a dynamic, agile, and nimble environmentExcellent written/oral communications skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detailMust have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II or higher certification within 6 months of hirePreferred Qualifications:Understanding of federal Cyber Security Guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 – Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to Federal Information Systems and NIST 800-137 – Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and OrganizationsAbility to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are metIn-depth understanding and practical knowledge of LANs, firewalls, routers and switchesAbility to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate best solution or practiceMust be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project prioritiesSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the timeConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
