A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) is seeking a full-time exempt Clinical Coordinator/Assistant Professor for Physician Assistant Studies on the Mesa, Arizona campus.Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct regular on-site visits of supervised clinical practice experience (SCPE) sites to evaluate student performance, ensure site adequacy, and foster professional relationships.Assist in the direction, development, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical curriculum.Provide guidance and direction to program staff and faculty involved in the second-year curriculum.Network with appropriate offices and departments involved in medical and allied health education and with external agencies useful or in support of the clinical education of students.Develop SCPEs that meet ARC-PA standards.Establish and evaluate clinical learning objectives and assessments.Recruit, train, and orient clinical preceptors.Create and disseminate educational materials and resources for preceptors.Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director and Program Director.Education & Experience:At least two years of healthcare experience.At least one year of educational experience in a faculty leadership role preferred.Knowledge of PA practice competencies.Strong ability to develop and deliver medical course instruction.ATSU offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverages, among more.
