Full-timeSeeking an Acute Care/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner with Inpatient ICU/CCC experience to join a wonderful group of Physicians on the Hospitalist Services team in Connecticut.Current dayshift model includes 1 Physician, 1 NP, and 1 Hospitalist RN along with Clinicians, Medical Assistant and Support Staff.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hospitalist team and offers the opportunity to function in a highly-autonomous environment with excellent support.Block Scheduling with 12 hour shifts from 7am - 7pm. Experience with an independent panel of patients is required.The Practitioner will perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice. Responsibilities include:Develop treatment plans.Complete admissions from ED.Perform dictation of H&P examinations.Cross cover for the hospitalist team.Perform dictation of discharge summary and procedure reports.Candidate should be comfortable with rapid response and code blue; ACLS required.This is a permanent/W2 salaried position with a robust benefits package which includes: 401(k) with company match, CME allowance, medical malpractice & tail coverage, Path to Partnership, and opportunities for leadership and career advancement.
