Job Overview – Tax Accountant:
Join our trusted client's team as a Tax Accountant in Greenwich, CT. In this hybrid temporary role, you'll work with financial data to assist with tax preparation, bookkeeping, and Excel analysis. Your expertise will support various financial reconciliation and reporting tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of the accounting department.
Compensation:
$40 - $50/hour
Location:
Greenwich, CT
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Tax Accountant:
Analysis & Reporting:
Assist with various Excel analysis, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
Partner Allocations:
Utilize your understanding of partner allocations and K-1s to support tax processes.
Tax Preparation:
Support tax preparation tasks and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Bookkeeping Support:
Provide assistance in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping tasks.
Financial Reconciliation:
Conduct financial reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
Experience:
2-5 years of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and/or Tax experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Excel (experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is a plus).
Background:
Strong background in tax, accounting, or bookkeeping.
Technology Savvy:
Comfortable using various software and tools for financial analysis and reporting.
