Markon's Partner company is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to support our Intelligence Customer's Engineer Group and assist with the implementation of customer-level security policies, procedures, and accreditations.Responsibilities:
Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.Define information security policies and procedures for the program.Provide technical cyber security guidance for the program based on documented policies and regulations.Perform both malicious code and intrusion detection support.Investigate system incidents to determine root cause and risk.Determine causes of security breaches and implement changes to protect data from future violations.Ensure products and systems comply with government information assurance and cyber security standards.Assist in the design of security operations programs and continuity plans.Support project objectives requiring new or improved information security devices or systems.Create security concepts for various projects.Analyze and solve complex problems.Write technical documents addressing complex issues.Job Requirements:
Requirements:A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.Ability to analyze systems for malware, misuse, and unauthorized activity.Knowledge of investigation and analysis of data sources to identify cyber security concerns.Experience with network defense monitoring tools and systems.Experience with Jira and ServiceNow.Possess current security certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CAP, CISM, GLSC, or CEH.Travel:
