Primary responsibilities include:Design creative Internet of Things (IoT) based engineering projects for students that address real-world problems.Design IoT based engineering projects that illustrate engineering and technology topics, such as wireless communication, Internet of Things, 5G, VR, AI, among others.Manage various projects from start to finish, including documentation and prototypes.Work with others across departments to develop new engineering activities and projects, including engineering and government affairs.Conduct hands-on workshops to refine IoT based engineering projects by incorporating feedback and lessons learned.Support Thinkabit Lab staff with engineering content and new IoT projects in general.Minimum Qualifications:Low level embedded software development experienceCommunications software experience (e.g., ethernet, LTE/4G/5G, WiFi, BT, NFC)App InventorArduino Software Development EnvironmentC ProgrammingMicrosoft Block EditorArduino board and other micro-controllersBasic electronic components, including sensors, buttons, and resistorsBasic understanding of new technical topics such as 5G, IoT, VR/AR, cyber securityProject development and management skillsEducation, teaching, tutoring, or training backgroundExcellent verbal and written skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsA desire to work with students of all agesProficient in Microsoft programs, such as Word, PPT, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications:C++ ProgrammingAndroid App DevelopmentAbility to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiencesEducation
Qualifications:Excellent knowledge of IoT and ASIC software development life cycle.Excellent knowledge in digital integrated circuit or core design, digital IC architecture.Need not have in-depth knowledge.
