Title: SOA ArchitectDuration: 3 months (may extend)Note: The client is looking for a Web Services SOA Architect for an on-site position in Lake Oswego, OR.Responsibilities:

Help architect and build the next generation of SOAP and REST web services.Extensive experience with web services standards/design and related technologies (HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WS*).Experience working with a variety of Applications Servers and Databases (primarily Tomcat, Oracle).Responsible for technical design, performance testing, core framework development & being the subject matter expert for the company's web services.Work closely with the Technology organization to design, develop, test, and maintain internal and external facing web services.Familiarity with standard data formats: HTML, XML, XML related technologies including but not limited to XSLT and XML Parsers; understanding of XML4IP is a plus.Knowledge of PDF, Web 2.0 technologies, Architectural Patterns, Design Patterns, JEE framework, and other related frameworks.Experience with web service technologies: SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, eBXML, and JAX pack (JAXP, JAXB, JAXM, JAX-RPC, JAXR).Knowledge of web development integration approaches such as SOA and TOGAF.Additional Information
