WebSphere MQ Administration experience (V6.2 & above) on distributed platforms (one or more flavors of UNIX and Windows)Good working knowledge and understanding of Unix and Windows Operating SystemsWorking knowledge with product & Fixpack installations and version upgrades of WebSphere MQAble to administer the product using the command lineProficient in problem determination, troubleshooting, backup & recoveryWorking knowledge in using MQSC commandsWorking knowledge in using Distributed Queue ManagementWorking knowledge with MQ ClusteringAble to manage, configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files & Dead Letter QueuesFamiliar with MQ Client applications & MQ client configurationAble to setup security for WebSphere MQ queues & other objects for data access and for administration using role-based securityWorking knowledge in using MQ monitoring tools like Tivoli OmegamonWorking knowledge of MQ TracingWebSphere Message Broker experience (V6 & above) on distributed platformsGood communication and written skillsKnowledge of WMB AdministrationKnowledge of AIX 5.3 and higher1+ years application development with combined experience in MQI / JMS and Java/C programming languages.Exposure to MQ monitoring tools such as Omegamon, Qpasa, BMC Patrol or Candle desiredWorking knowledge of logical partition management (LPAR’s) and virtualization (VIO) on AIX systemsAbility to provide 7x24 rotating on-call supportAbility to work outside normal 8 to 5 office hours including weekends as necessary
