Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our Portfolio Management team. The analyst will sit on the trading floor, working alongside a PM in all aspects of trading and portfolio management. The candidate should possess financial modeling expertise in equities. The candidate will be able to grow into an assistant PM role with time.ResponsibilitiesAssist Portfolio Manager with financial modeling and trade idea generationMonitor the portfolio and assist with risk management. When appropriate, collect data and perform quantitative analysis on the portfolio and markets more broadlyDevelop tools and analytics to assist in the portfolio management processRequirements
5+ years in equities on a trading desk or strategy (buy-side or sell-side)Proficient in Python and VBA, Bloomberg, and working with data in Microsoft ExcelCoding and front-office financial modeling experienceStrong problem solving and analytical skillsHighly motivated and intellectually curiousOur current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our Rowayton, CT office Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.Base Salary RangeThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated.
