S/W and Services teamSW and services to teams at VIPERGeronimo and ReadyApplications that are written in GoAllow developers to deploy applications to infrastructures all over the countryREST APIs allow customers to make HTTP requests in remote data centersKubernetes are the systems they provision. Runs on LinuxPrimarily this person will be a developerWorking on feature/functionality related to APIs and remote clustersDay to Day/Team make up:Daily stand up. About 15 minutesDevelopers spend 10-15% of time in meetings, rest of time developingTeam involved in roadmap and long-term discussionsHave multiple people working on the same thingReady has 2 developersOther systems have 2 developersWill be working closely with other peopleCulture/Soft Skills:Curious about technology, passionatePragmaticDon’t do waterfall, do Agile. Heavy emphasis on getting stuff doneSkills:Of the seven developers on the team, only one had prior Go experience.
