As a strong technical leader within the IT team, the Senior Network Engineer works to ensure that the IT infrastructure, security, telecommunications activities and business applications are working efficiently and effectively. This individual is a key member of the IT team responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology and systems. In this role you will be responsible for:Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications and peripherals.Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems for Strasz applications hosted by client organizations.Partner with Agile Teams to optimize and manage application deployment designs and environments.Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems.Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users.Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.Propel traditional hosting deployments into Service Architecture / Cloud hosting.Work with others to develop/update and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment.Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures.Support overall mission and follow all standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.Qualifications
10+ years of progressive IT experienceAn understanding of Agile engineering practices especially the role of DevOps in the Agile FrameworkExperience deploying software to multiple environments, including ProductionExperience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) deployments/environments a plusMUST BE hands-onExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to productively, effectively and cordially work with clients and colleaguesMinimum Education - B.S. in Computer Science or related degreeAdvanced technical credentials preferred.Candidate must be open to travel between our Princeton, NJ and Boca Raton, FL sites, as well as client sites (less than 5%)Additional Information
