The role As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in the delivery of business change priorities. This role has the overall responsibility for the successful definition, planning, execution, control and closure of a project. Projects will be of varying size and complexity and include commercial opportunities, product launches and property changes. These projects are predominantly for the US market, but the role holder will be required to work closely with colleagues globally including the Technology department, PMO and stakeholders from all business functions. Key responsibilities include: Responsible for managing one or more simultaneous projects from start to finish Follow established project management standards and processes, employing Audley’s project delivery methodology (Lifecycle) and tools. Identify the project stakeholders and work with them to fully define objectives, priorities and requirements Produce and maintain the required Project Documentation (including Project Brief, Business Case, Project Plan, RAID log, Communications Plan, Project Close Report) Identify project resource requirements and work with business stakeholders to ensure their availability Define and agree project team roles and responsibilities Define, agree, track and control project budgets, ensuring any necessary funding approvals are obtained Lead on planning project delivery with the project team, agreeing areas of ownership and a task-level breakdown of work to be delivered Manage project governance activities including steering groups and stage gate approvals Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring that appropriate mitigations or corrective actions are in place Communicate and report on project status, including risks and issues Ensure that agreed project deliverables are completed on time and within budget and meet requirements Manage the process to prepare business teams for change, including the formal handover of project deliverables Ensure formal closure of completed projects including completion of project closure reports, closing budgets and sharing lessons learnt Support the development of project management methodologies and capability across Audley About you As an experienced Project Manager you will have proven track record of successfully delivering business change projects from initiation through to completion. You have strong leadership and communication skills, you are resilient to change and setbacks in a fast-moving environment with an ability to stay motivated, remaining calm and clear minded. Additional experience required: Extensive project team management experience, including internal and external resources/delivery partners Experience of delivering projects through established methodologies including Waterfall and, ideally, Agile Industry recognised Project Management qualification (such as PMI PMP, IPMA level C, PRINCE2 etc.) is highly desirable Some experience of managing technology-centric projects involving software and/or product development processes is desirable but not essential Strong collaboration and the ability to engage and influence at all levels, up to senior leadership Knowledge and experience of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures Ability to provide leadership to cross-functional teams Solutions-based thinker with ability to overcome obstacles as required, pre-empting where possible Ability to successfully manage and resolve inter-team challenges, instil a positive and collaborative environment, and continually motivate team members to perform at a high level Good facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills Analytical skills – able to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, produce reports and make recommendations to senior management in relation to project delivery and required decisions What you get in return: 90-100% coverage of insurance premiums 10 paid holidays including your birthday off! 1 day off to volunteer!
