A law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets for its office in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will possess major law firm experience, a strong commitment to excellent client service, and significant experience in public securities offerings, including both equity and debt. The candidate must also possess excellent academic credentials, superior communication and organizational skills, and a bar membership in MA state.Duties:Handle public securities offerings, including both equity and debtProvide legal counsel on capital market transactions and regulatory complianceDraft and review transactional documents, including prospectuses, offering memoranda, and securities filingsAdvise clients on SEC reporting obligations and other regulatory requirementsAssist with corporate governance matters related to capital market activitiesConduct due diligence and prepare disclosure documents for capital market transactionsCollaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex transactionsRequirements:2-4 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital marketsSignificant experience in public securities offeringsStrong interpersonal skills and a motivated, entrepreneurial outlookExcellent academic credentialsSuperior communication and organizational skillsBar membership in the state of MassachusettsEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the Massachusetts BarSkills:Strong legal research and analytical skillsExcellent drafting and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detailStrong client service orientationAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
