Our care includes clinical trials, transfusions, and other innovative delivery models traditionally associated with the most advanced care delivery organizations.We are dedicated to providing exceptional cancer care while prioritizing our employees' well-being and growth.About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Accounts Receivable with experience in oncology to lead and enhance our accounts receivable operations. This position involves overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, collaborating with outsourced vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare industry, particularly with IPA or MSO experience, and a proven track record in revenue cycle management within oncology.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic direction to enhance accounts receivable operations in an oncology setting by implementing best practices and leveraging technology for operational improvements.Operational Oversight:

Manage patient and insurance accounts receivable activities, including collections, customer service, and denial management, specifically within oncology.Vendor Management:

Work closely with outsourced vendors and internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and resolve escalated claims.Performance Monitoring:

Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboard reports to evaluate AR performance, set internal goals, and implement improvement plans.Team Development:

Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Administrative Management:

Oversee staff management functions, prepare reports for management, and fulfill other administrative duties as required.Essential Functions:Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee AR processes in line with internal and third-party payer requirements specific to oncology.Demonstrate strong strategic thinking, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Develop and implement strategies to improve first pass accurate payment rates and operational efficiency in oncology accounts.Manage relationships with payors to resolve escalated claims and improve AR processes related to oncology services.Create and monitor KPIs and dashboard reports, setting internal goals and improvement plans for oncology accounts.Lead root cause analysis and prevention strategies to reduce denial percentages and improve payment accuracy.Oversee recruitment, orientation, and development of team members, including conducting performance reviews and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Manage administrative functions related to staff, including timecard approvals and vacation requests.Qualifications:Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in the healthcare industry (Health Plan, IPA/MSO, Provider), with at least 5 years in collections, credit work, and leadership roles in Revenue Cycle Management. Experience in oncology billing and managing external vendors is preferred.Education:

A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management is preferred.Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong Payor Contract interpretation, experience with EMR and RCM software, and knowledge of healthcare billing laws and regulations.Additional:
