Artificial is looking for a highly motivated Field Applications Engineer to help customers get the most out of the Artificial Platform. You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs and designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions to meet those needs.Responsibilities

Define and document customer project requirements in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success.Design and implement solutions that meet project requirements using the tools and features provided by the Artificial Platform.Go on-site with customers to commission and bring up implemented solutions, including integrating with pre-existing systems.Train customers and provide ongoing maintenance and support.Contribute to Artificial’s external-facing documentation and help create marketing and sales demos of key features.Relay customer feedback and feature requests to Product for prioritization and development.Provide support to the R&D team during development and validation of new device drivers.Requirements

Excellent communication skills.Experience in life science laboratories, especially with lab automation equipment and systems, including liquid handlers, schedulers and LIMS.Proficiency with Python.Located in the Boston metro area.Up to 50% time on-site with customers.Ability to travel on short notice.Bonus Points

Experience programming in C#.3+ years of experience as a Lab Automation Engineer.BS degree (Engineering / Biology / Math / Physics or equivalent).$150,000 - $170,000 a year
