Our Client's corporate governance practice is soaring and is highly regarded for its depth of expertise and proactive approach to addressing complex regulatory issues.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice on corporate governance matters to clientsInterpret and apply securities laws, stock exchange corporate governance standards, and proxy advisory firm policiesDraft and review bylaws, governance policies, and codes of conductStay abreast of developments in corporate governance best practices and regulations.QualificationsJD from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the bar in Washington, D.C., or New York, or have the ability to waive in8 or more years of experience in corporate governance, in a major law firm settingStrong understanding of securities laws, corporate governance principles, proxy advisory, codes of conduct, securities and stock exchange issues and practicesExcellent writing and research skillsDetail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Work EnvironmentOur Client is fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every team member's contributions are valued and recognized. $450,000 - $485,000. Salary offered within the range will be commensurate with qualifications and other operational considerations. Benefits include health care, retirement benefits, paid time off (including sick time and vacation time), parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
