Including governance, oversight and execution of the Firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Anti-Corruption and Government and Political Activities Compliance programs.If you are passionate about financial crimes prevention, seeking a rewarding and dynamic career, and focused on making a difference, then GFC might be the right team for you.Your Key Responsibilities:As an experienced Risk Assessment Officer in GFC, you will:Help complete the Firm's annual AML, Economic Sanctions, Anti-Tax Evasion, Anti-Corruption, and Financial Crimes Country Risk Assessments;Analyze data related to the Firm's customers, products and services, and control environment;Draft written reports that present Risk Assessment results to senior business line and compliance stakeholders;Help manage team members and coordinate with multiple external stakeholders to complete complex projects in a timely manner; andConduct research and draft  reports on a range of topics related to financial crimes compliance, including financial crimes regulatory and industry guidance, financial products and services, and financial crimes country risk.QualificationsWhat We’re Looking for in You4-year college degree8+ years of experience in legal and compliance, financial regulation, or consulting, including 5+ prior work experience in financial crimes complianceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience with business writing and drafting reportsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsProficient with data analysis, including creating pivot tablesStrong project management and interpersonal skillsHighly knowledgeable about the banking and securities industries, including about different products, services, and market participantsThrives in a dynamic environment with a variety of responsibilitiesPrior experience performing financial crimes risk assessmentsStrong PowerPoint skillsCertification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML certification/license - or certification within 15 months of hireWhere You’ll be WorkingThis role will require in office attendance 3 days/week.
