We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our GPO Services team and focus on supplier partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers that align with our members' needs and the GPO's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supplier management, and business development, with a deep understanding of the GPO landscape.

Business Development Strategy:Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier partnership strategy to secure favorable terms and pricing for our members.Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential supplier partnerships that can enhance the GPO's offerings.Set and achieve growth targets related to supplier acquisition and partnership expansion.Supplier Partnerships:Identify and engage with suppliers to negotiate contracts that provide value to both the GPO and its members.Build and maintain strong relationships with key supplier partners, ensuring alignment with the GPO's strategic objectives.Collaborate with suppliers to develop innovative solutions and product offerings that meet the evolving needs of our members.Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms, quality standards, and delivery timelines.Address any issues or disputes that arise, working closely with suppliers to find mutually beneficial resolutions.Negotiation & Contract Management:Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring that terms are favorable and aligned with the GPO's goals.Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring all agreements remain current and relevant.Ensure all supplier agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.Reporting & Analysis:Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, contract value, and cost savings achieved.Provide regular updates to senior management on supplier partnership strategies and outcomes.Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in supplier relations.Team Collaboration:Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier products and services into the GPO's offerings.Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight key supplier partnerships and promote them to members.Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships with potential suppliers and enhance the company's reputation in the market.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus; or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or business development, preferably within a GPO or healthcare distribution environment.Strong understanding of the GPO model and experience working directly with suppliers.Proven track record of negotiating favorable contracts and managing supplier relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
