But collectively, we are unified force of creative problem-solvers who share a passion for developing ground breaking ideas rooted in data, driven by insights, and enabled by innovative technology.About the RoleWe seek a proactive, confident and sales-oriented individual to lead our new business efforts for Cheil NY. As the Director of Business Development, your role entails driving, strategizing, and overseeing efforts to acquire new business opportunities, extending beyond existing clients and encompassing agency marketing initiatives.Develop an annual plan for prospecting and new business building efforts that achieves annual agency goals. (with a focus on project work)Own strategic and day-to-day management of all new business projects (prospecting efforts).Manage research of new business prospect brands and clientsWork collaboratively across the affiliate network - driving opportunities with multiple agencies when needed.Track, monitor, and report on actual business development performance against plan.Be a key part of the presentation team at new client meetings.Conceptualize and develop new business marketing materials and related collateral to support overall marketing efforts.Manage and grow the new business contact database.Maintain knowledge of talent and core capabilities within the agencyAbout the requirements

Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, and other communications fields preferred.10+ years' business development experience in a digital or integrated communications agency environment with a focus on creative, strategy & media.A proven track record for new revenue and new business opportunities.Must bring existing potential client relationships.Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high energy and vibrancy.Proven ability to analyze, develop, sell-in, and manage business strategies, plans and business cases.Strong presentation and senior client-facing skills.Extreme sensitivity to and respect for working in confidentialityOn-site at Cheil New York, Monday - Thursday (remote Friday)

The salary range for this role in NY is $150000-$175000 per annum, plus incentives. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
