Position Overview:

The Director of Pricing will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation while ensuring accessibility for fans of all demographics for FIFA World Cup 26™. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, data-driven analysis, and stakeholder management to balance the financial objectives of the event with the goal of maximizing fan engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development: Lead the development of pricing strategies for tickets, hospitality packages, and other event-related products and services.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer segmentation to inform pricing decisions.

Collaborate with internal partners, including strategy & analytics, product architecture, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall event objectives.

Identify and optimize pricing decisions across venues & all hospitality products - including suites and custom packages

Revenue Optimization:

In partnership with the strategy & analytics team, utilize pricing analytics and forecasting models to maximize revenue across various ticket categories, seating sections, and sales channels.

Implement dynamic pricing strategies to respond to changes in demand, market conditions, and competitor pricing.

Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement through upselling, cross-selling, and premium offerings, such as VIP experiences and corporate hospitality packages.

Inventory Management:

Develop and implement a master inventory tracking system to optimize inventory strategy across sales channels.

Develop and maintain a mastery of our internal workflow processes and inventory management system, including data analytics models and overall reporting cadences.

Reporting & Analytics:

Coordinate with product architecture, strategy & analytics, operations and other functional areas to constantly evaluate current inventory and assets against the overall financial roadmap and anticipate future needs.

Partner with strategy & analytics team to ensure there is a range of dashboards and reports available to provide timely and accurate insights into sales channels & results, as well as impacts of pricing decisions on sales volumes.

Accessibility and Inclusivity:

Develop pricing structures and promotional initiatives to ensure accessibility and affordability for fans from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

Collaborate with fan engagement and community outreach teams to identify opportunities for discounted ticket programs, fan zones, and grassroots initiatives.

Monitor ticket distribution and sales patterns to address any disparities or barriers to access for underrepresented groups.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Mitigate pricing-related risks, such as ticket scalping, counterfeit sales, and price gouging, through robust control measures and enforcement mechanisms.

Ensure compliance with FIFA regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards related to pricing, ticketing, and consumer protection.

Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to anticipate and address potential challenges or opportunities proactively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial strategy, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Experience setting pricing for premium products preferred.

Expertise in pricing analytics, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling, with proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies.

Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive positioning in a global context.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex pricing concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strategic, player-coach approach to working across the team to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making in high-pressure environments.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum: $112,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum: $150,000 annually
