Job Overview:

A law firm specializing in personal injury litigation is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to manage and represent clients in various stages of litigation, from case inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plaintiff’s litigation, particularly in North Carolina, and a strong track record of successful trial outcomes.Job Duties:Provide legal advice on personal injury issues by conducting thorough legal research.Keep clients informed of case developments and explain complex legal concepts related to personal injury law.Develop personal injury cases by reviewing investigative findings, medical reports, and other relevant documents.Consult with experts and conduct depositions as part of the discovery process.Prepare legal briefs and develop case strategies, arguments, and testimony.Maintain case progress by enforcing productivity and quality standards and identifying improvements in work processes.Resolve cases through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial proceedings.Plan, organize, and present arguments and counter-arguments in court.Engage expert witnesses, prepare and present evidence, and interrogate witnesses.Deliver closing arguments to juries during trials.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission in good standing to the North Carolina State Bar; admission to the South Carolina State Bar preferred.Minimum of 10 years of plaintiff’s litigation experience in North Carolina.Proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases, including trial experience.Strong analytical and research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission in good standing to the North Carolina State Bar; admission to the South Carolina State Bar preferred.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case preparation and management.Trial advocacy and courtroom experience.Negotiation and settlement skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Job Location:
