We are growing rapidly and are looking for rock star engineers to help us architect, build and mature our engineering capabilities.The Eventbrite 'Seamless Event Management' team is solving complex engineering challenges across the entire product stack. We are refactoring and redesigning many parts of the Eventbrite stack to scale with our explosive growth. As a backend engineer on this exciting team, you will be directly responsible for shaping critical parts of our product. You will be helping us design and improve our reporting systems, payout infrastructure, onsite tools used to check people in and many other crucial ecosystem tools.If you are interested in being part of fast moving web development projects that involve refactoring, redesigning and scaling, then read on.You Bring:
Solid web application development experience in Python and MySQL using frameworks such as Django or PyramidExperience designing REST APIs and web architectures for consumer web productsBroad but non-trivial knowledge of SQL, NoSQL and NewSQL technologiesNinja like CS skills with strong exposure to data structures, software design and OOPA strong track record of working with design, product and engineering to lead complex backend projects to completionBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. CS, Engineering or Mathematics)Bonus Points:
