to assist in the work of the Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C. 20002.

Primary responsibilities include:

providing electronic discovery technical support and assisting with strategic and legal aspects for all assigned projects and matters with a strong focus on Relativity.

Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Must obtain a U.S. government security clearance, Public Trust (active clearance preferred).

Must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries, NACI.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required and five-plus (5+) years of prior relevant experience (Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree strongly preferred).

Minimum five (5) years of experience providing e-Discovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving complex e-Discovery challenges.

Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, EDRM, workflow.

Advanced knowledge of Relativity (front end and back end).

Demonstrated ability to generate complex MS PowerShell scripts.

Advanced hands-on experience with Active Learning.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Detailed planning and organizational skills and a thorough understanding of processes at each stage of the e-Discovery lifecycle.

Solid, broad knowledge of Information Technology infrastructures including networks and other sources of data.

Prior knowledge and experience managing e-Discovery projects and related technologies required.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.

Work as part of a team and be able to manage complex relationships with all stakeholders.

Well organized, a strong communicator, detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgment, and be confident working independently.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Provide electronic discovery technical support and assist with strategic and legal aspects for all assigned projects and matters with a strong focus on Relativity.

Perform analysis, development, and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services pursuant to applicable Electronically Stored Information, ESI, specifications and best practices.

Consult with attorneys and support staff for conforming to ESI specifications.

Responsible for ensuring that incoming and outgoing productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications.

Perform advanced analytics in Relativity.

Create, troubleshoot, and repair Active Learning Projects in Relativity.

Generate custom PowerShell scripts for automated system management.

Participate in legal proceedings, i.e., 26(f) conferences.

Provide input on technology options to respond to specific discovery needs.

Ensure standard procedures for electronic discovery and litigation support projects are consistently applied across the life of the case.

Stay abreast of emerging electronic discovery litigation support technology and processes.
