RINA seeks a Tax Manager or Tax Supervisor for their San Francisco, Oakland or Walnut Creek office.
This is a permanent, salaried, full-time position with benefits.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Work with a variety of tax clients: corporations, non-profit organizations, high-net worth individuals/families, partnerships, real estate partnerships and more. Uphold RINA’s reputation by focusing on client service. You will “own” the client relationship. Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of corporate and individual clients. Develop and deliver innovative financial planning ideas that meet or exceed client expectations. Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries. Work with clients to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liability. Assist with the training and development of future firm leaders. Promote new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients. Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and become a trusted advisor to the business and its owners. Identify and seize new business opportunities.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED : The qualified tax professional will be a licensed CPA with 4-7 years of recent tax experience at a public accounting firm.
Experience with the preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership and trustee tax returns.
Strong background in partnership, S-corporation, C-Corporation and individual taxation. Strong analytical ability, research and problem-solving skills. Success and interest in business development is a plus. Use of Microsoft Office and ProSystem software programs.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS : BS/BA degree in accounting (Master degree in Tax preferred) Licensed CPA preferred.
