The Lead Quality will provide enterprise-wide leadership and support of the Harley-Davidson Quality Management System. Responsibilities include process ownership of key QMS processes, leadership of the Internal Audit program, and maintenance of the ISO 9001 certification. The role will also be expected to assist on larger ad-hoc projects identified by company leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills as well as a passion for Continuous Improvement.Job Responsibilities:Act as business lead for enterprise-wide QMS software applicationsInterface with Digital Office IT organizationPrioritize requests for changeEnsure effective use across the organizationPrepare, report, and disseminate quality metrics and other information to the organizationMaintain ISO 9001 certificationInterface with external registrarFacilitate external auditsLead Internal Audit processIdentify and train new internal auditorsConduct on-site and remote audits of H-D sitesIdentify opportunities for QMS related Continuous Improvement and lead associated projectsProvide effective QMS related communication and training to the organizationChampion resolution of quality problems spanning product development and manufacturingHarley-Davidson is committed to recruiting and hiring qualified individuals in all job titles without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or other classes protected by applicable law.
