You'll join the industry leader in code search software as its second in-house lawyer. You'll lead all commercial contracts negotiations and advise the company on novel legal issues from open source licensing to international expansion at a global, all-remote company. We are invested in your growth and hope that you will be excited to become a leader on the legal team.Within one month you'll:Lead negotiations of 100% of commercial contracts, such as software licensing terms, data-processing agreements, and vendor agreements.Within three months you'll:Own updating our commercial templates, including our terms of service, data-processing agreements, and privacy notices.Advise and help the company develop its global equity program and other corporate initiatives.Within six months you'll:Proactively identify and advise the company on various corporate obligations including reporting requirements under securities laws.Lead key corporate projects including international expansion strategy on the legal front.Within one year you'll:Play a key role in any fundraising and M&A.Identify legal and business priorities for the company with an eye toward public company readiness.And much more!
