Please apply only if you have an active TS clearance***North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared DevOps Engineer to provide mission critical support. This role will work to develop and support IC enterprise products in an Agile SAFe environment. As a DevOps Engineer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems and software utilizing cloud capabilities and Agile experience to support a complex program. Based in DevOps framework, you will participate in and/or direct major deliverables throughout all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.Responsibilities:The primary duties will be to support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment.Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline codeConfigure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containersReview code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as neededProvide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservicesSupport Developer testing in the environmentCreate and Maintain DevOps documentationConduct Security remediation as needed from scansCore Qualifications:Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.Understanding of custom code development/reviewsExperience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scriptingExperience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS)Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)Experience with cloud-based architecturesUnderstanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflowExperience developing and managing CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment PracticesTeam Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hireMust be a U.S. CitizenTypically requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.Active TS/SCIPreferred Qualifications:Experience with GitLab CI/CDExperience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECSExperience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containersAWS certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologiesNorth Point Technology is
