Key responsibilities include:Correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectivenessParticipating in didactic and/or clinical instructionSupporting the program director to assure effective program operationsParticipating in the accreditation and assessment processesMaintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional developmentMaintaining current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progressAdditional responsibilities include instruction in relation to on-campus radiologic technology laboratories at the associate level, providing necessary documentation for continued accreditation with JRCERT, assisting in student recruitment, student orientation, and various college/department services.Requirements:Applicants must meet the following qualifications:Holds, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree or willingness to complete within 12-24 months of their start dateProficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advisingDocuments two years' clinical experience in the professional disciplineDocuments one year's experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited programHolds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiographyApplication Instructions:Returning applicants may login to their Alfred State College Careers Account to apply for this position.
