Part-Time, Monday-Thursday Evening Classes - Fall and Spring SemestersWe are currently seeking Part-Time New Jersey State Licensed Cosmetology Instructors. Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic cosmetologist who is ready to make a difference by educating students who are eager to train in Cosmetology? Then bring your talent and skill to Sussex County Community College where you CAN make a difference. You must have a passion for educating, motivating, mentoring and coaching the future Cosmetologists in all classroom and clinical systems.We are seeking professionals to:Serve as an instructor for the evening Cosmetology program (Monday-Thursday from 4:45-10:00pm).Provide instruction that fulfills the NJ State Board of Cosmetology requirements for licensure.Facilitate the classroom instructional process, evaluate students, monitor/maintain progress; maintain attendance and grade records, work to retain students.Maintain safety and sanitation measures to meet NJ State Board of Cosmetology Requirements.Use current technology in preparation, creation and delivery of instruction, and maintain updated course syllabi.Qualifications:Currently holds a NJ State Board Cosmetology License.Currently holds a NJ State Board Cosmetology Teacher License.2 years of teaching experience preferred.Models exceptional service in a simulated salon environment that will enable students to develop manipulative skills and knowledge needed to achieve licensure.To Apply:Please submit cover letter and resume to HRresume@sussex.edu.
