Financial Service Center Manager (Branch Manager) We are looking for a motivated, member-focused, target-driven team member to join our Financial Service Center as a
Financial Service Center Manager . What You’ll Be Doing… As the Financial Service Center Manager, you are the key element of our retail environment. In the Financial Service Center (FSC), you will build and maintain relationships and uphold the integrity of our Brand while living out our Mission and Vision and demonstrating our Core Values, making the financial well-being of our membership altogether better in the areas of savings, loans, investments, credit counseling, payments, and convenience services. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and directing all member service requests and inquiries. You will work with FSC management and department heads to coordinate member service activities with credit union-wide goals and objectives. You will provide support and serve as a Financial Service Advisor (FSA) as required. You will ensure professional relations exist with external vendors and customers. Additionally, you will direct, train, supervise, and appraise FSC personnel. This position will oversee our Brentwood and DC financial service centers. This position is required to work on Saturdays. Requirements
Key Areas of Focus… Supervises work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations. Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and with legal and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements an entrepreneurial approach to effectively running Center Operations and holds the center team accountable for such an approach. Assumes responsibility for maintaining proper cash controls. Ensures members’ requests and questions are promptly resolved. Handles members’ complaints. Ensures members are informed of Credit Union services and policies. Counsels members regarding their financial needs and services requested. Assumes responsibility for the effective administration of FSC functions. Any other duties as assigned. Education & Experience
You should have: College degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. High school graduate or equivalent. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree. At least five years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. Requirements
You should have: Knowledge of Credit Union or financial institution policies and procedures - preferred Understanding of Credit Union operations - preferred Customer service and sales experience - highly preferred You are not joining just another credit union; you are joining a progressive financial institution.
