to work on road, rail, and transit projects throughout the King, Pierce and Snohomish County area. Our construction management services are in high demand, and with our upcoming project list expanding, we need a qualified Construction Inspector to join our team.The Position:This position requires a range of duties related typically to roadway, transit, and rail jobs. You will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities on the project site. You will report to the Project Manager but are expected to work independently with little to no immediate supervision. Because you will be the face of the company when working in the field and interfacing with clients, contractors, and the general public, you should possess the skills to be a professional and effective communicator.Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Observe daily construction activities related to roadway, utility, and structural projects to document compliance with project requirements.Coordinate and prepare daily Inspector’s Reports and track construction progress.Prepare field note records for progress payment.Perform field work as needed.Review project plans, schedules, and specifications and prioritize assignments accordingly.Coordinate between contractors, clients, managers, and office employees.Qualifications & Requirements:A clean driving record and a valid Washington State Driver’s License, or the ability to acquire one prior to employment.Detail-oriented and organized.Excellent professional and effective communication skills to maintain working relationships with clients, engineers, general contractors, and managers.Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse environment.Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience.Road, rail, and transit experience is a plus.Compensation:We are a small business offering big business benefits, including competitive compensation (depending on experience) with medical, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) (with company contributions), and paid vacation, sick leave, and 10 holidays.EEO Commitment:Furtado is an equal opportunity employer.
