The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in renewable energy and energy transition matters, with a strong focus on transactional work including development and finance transactions.Duties and Responsibilities:Advise and represent clients on complex renewable energy and energy transition matters, including solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, carbon, and renewable fuels.Handle all aspects of transactional work, including equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiation and drafting of project documents such as EPC contracts, BOP contracts, equipment procurement agreements, and O&M agreements.Provide strategic legal advice to clients throughout the development, financing, and operation phases of energy projects.Conduct due diligence reviews and manage legal aspects of project development and financing.Collaborate closely with clients, senior attorneys, and project stakeholders to achieve client objectives.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in renewable energy and energy transition sectors.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Active and in good standing member of the California State Bar or Texas State Bar (as applicable).4-8 years of experience practicing law, with a significant focus on renewable energy and/or energy transition matters.Proven experience in handling complex development and finance transactions in the renewable energy sector.Strong drafting skills and project management abilities.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus.The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan, Disability and Life insurance, Adoption Assistance, and Backup Care for Dependents.
