Chief, Division of Pediatric Critical Care

The Department of Pediatrics at Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, located in Medical City, at Lake Nona, in Orlando, seeks an innovative and highly collaborative leader to serve as Division Chief of Critical Care Medicine.The Division of Critical Care Medicine is a clinically and academically active division consisting of 10 pediatric critical care physicians and six APRNs who provide clinical care in the 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and also oversee the Transport Team, Respiratory Care, and Sedation Services. Division members are also actively engaged in clinical, quality, and bench research. They have key roles in residency education and are leaders in the residency program, in simulation, and in regional education.We are seeking a candidate who is a nationally recognized academic leader with a track record of providing excellent clinical care personally, as well as leadership and administrative experience with clinical programs, education, academic scholarship, and team building. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively inspire, manage, mentor, and develop faculty and staff.
