Denver Health serves as one of the graduate medical education sites for the University of Colorado, and the successful candidate will be engaged in supervising and teaching ophthalmology residents in a resident-run clinic (general or subspecialty clinics such as retina and glaucoma if candidate's experience/training allows). The ability to teach and supervise residents in the operating room, particularly with cataract surgery, is a plus.As Colorado's primary safety-net institution, Denver Health serves as a model for other safety net institutions across the nation.
