Location: Charlotte, NCType: Full-TimeRequired Skills/Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in design and deployment of logical and physical structures preferably in the Banking Risk Area (Counterparty Credit Risk Data Domain knowledge)Minimum 5 years of experience with Erwin data modeling toolsMinimum 5 years of experience with development and deployments on MSSQL platformExperience with large, high volume databases is preferredExperience performing data profilingExperience in Data Mart, Dimensional Modeling, Data Warehouse modelingAbility to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsIn-depth understanding of both Relational and Domain Modeling techniquesUnderstanding of BI ReportingResponsibilities:Translate business and data requirements into logical data models in support of Enterprise Data Models, OLTP, Operational Data Structures, and Analytical systemsUnderstand database performance factors and trends pertaining to very large database design and collaborate with DBAs to implement mitigating physical modeling solutionsPerform source data analysis, data discovery, and data profilingProvide data structures optimized for information entry and retrievalEffectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structuresSupport development team during design process and during performance tuningParticipate in both business & IT planning and in the development & management of project plansLead design of Logical and Physical ModelsSupport ongoing data modeling efforts for Development and Production environmentsContribute to the development of processes and guidelines for Data Modeling
