DescriptionUNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks board certified Family Medicine physician to serve as Program Director to our 8-8-8 Family Medicine Residency Program, an ACGME approved program, in partnership with Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. The Family Medicine Residency began in July 2015.The program director has responsibility, authority, and accountability for: administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, and promotion of residents, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care.SUMMARY REQUIREMENTSLicensed DO/MD in NC upon hireBoard Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine or by the American Osteopathic Board of Family PhysiciansFamily Medicine expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience, or qualifications acceptable to the Review CommitteeOngoing clinical activityPrevious leadership experienceCOMMUNITYLocated in Robeson County, Lumberton, North Carolina is ideally located on I-95 just 20 minutes north of the South Carolina border.
