Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to join its team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing, with a focus on the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry. Duties: Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions. Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate matters. Conduct due diligence and title examinations for property acquisitions and sales. Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions on behalf of clients. Handle closings and ensure compliance with all legal requirements. Advise clients on zoning, land use regulations, and environmental issues. Represent clients in real estate disputes and litigation, if necessary. Requirements: Minimum 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions. Experience in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing. Preferred experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Membership in The Florida Bar. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Membership in The Florida Bar. Skills: Excellent knowledge of real estate law and regulations. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
