The DSP Analytics Team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to make an impact on the Amazon’s Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program.

We are looking for an innovative, highly-motivated and experienced BIE who can think holistically about problems to understand how systems work together to identify and execute both tactical and strategic projects. You will be single threaded leader for the org wide DSP 360 product which provides end to end visibility into all DSP related key business metrics and cross program insights at finger tips. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams, product managers, program managers and org leaders to deliver end-to-end data solutions aimed at continuously enhancing overall DSP Experience. You will have an opportunity to lead large scale data projects along with owning multiple domain within the team and contributing to analytics roadmap.

Key job responsibilities

Own analytics roadmap for DSP 360 data productExtract, transform, and load data from many data sources using SQL, Scripting and other ETL tools.Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis to enable data driven decisions across our team and with partner teams.Report key insight trends using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy trends that impact the business.Retrieve and analyze data using a broad set of Amazon’s data technologies (ex. Redshift, AWS S3, Amazon Internal Platforms/Solutions) and resources, knowing how, when, and which to use.Earn the trust of your customers and stakeholders by continuing to constantly obsess over their business use cases and data needs, and helping them solve their problems by leveraging technology.Work closely with business stakeholders and leadership team to review roadmap and contributing to business strategy and how they can leverage analytics for success.Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including stakeholder management, data gathering and manipulation, modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of SQL experience5+ years of professional or military experienceExperience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data setsExperience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.Experience with AWS technologiesExperience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data miningExperience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of resultsExperience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needsExperience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadershipPrior Product Analytics experience in ability to envision and develop data products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
