We are seeking an experienced PHP full-stack developer to join our teams producing cutting-edge cloud-based web applications out of our development office in New Hope, PA.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the development team and project managers to ideate software solutions.
Creating technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs.
Building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design – show us your creative side!
Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications.
Analyzing software and optimizing code to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Conceptualizing features and applications at the direction of the project management team.
Debugging time-sensitive issues.
Qualifications/Skills Desired:
Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer with 3+ years of programming or application development experience.
Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony Frameworks; knowledge in object-oriented programming.
Architectural understanding of web applications and application servers.
Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with back-end languages and knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Angular/React).
Preferred skills that would be good to have:
Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks, e.g. for logging, testing, and building.
Excitement for the latest trends in application design.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (i.e. IAM, EC2, S3) or similar cloud computing services.
Experience with agile software development methodologies like XP and Scrum.
Experience with Machine Learning or Natural Language Understanding algorithms.
