We have an exciting opportunity for an HRIS Specialist to join our HR Employee Center team in San Diego, CA.
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for providing administrative support for one or more human resource area(s) such as, but not limited to, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, training, and equal employment opportunity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains, processes, and compiles a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy human resource records and statistics, which requires considerable use of tact and discretion in handling.Responds to inquiries and provides information and guidance to employees, applicants, managers, and other authorized parties and/or agencies.Summarizes records and prepares various electronic and hard copy reports.Assignments are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.Maintains and updates a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and/or hard copy records and/or files.Updates and maintains human resource databases and/or electronic systems.Provides non-routine information to employees and/or candidates on human resource matters. Assists employees in completing various human resource forms.Prepares requested reports on topics such as employment, terminations and/or compensation.Supports employment process for assigned area(s) as required.Trains lower-level support staff and may provide direction as required.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Other duties as assigned or required.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
Job Qualifications:Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and four or more years of progressive experience in human resources administration or a related field.Must be customer focused and have a comprehensive understanding of human resource policies, procedures and relevant regulations.Skilled in prioritizing and applying critical thinking.Maintain accuracy and SLA response requirements for employee lifecycle data in HCM.2 years’ experience utilizing SuccessFactors preferred.2 years’ experience utilizing ServiceNow preferred.Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.Possess interpersonal skills and written communication skills required to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management, and applicants and to explain and interpret moderately complex information.Ability to accurately document and maintain records and files.General familiarity with office software.The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential.Salary:
$52,020 - $77,325
