Responsibilities

The Senior IT Contract Negotiations Manager is a critical member of the IT Contracts team. The IT Contracts team manages the IT Procurement activities across Post Holdings. This role reports to the Director, IT Contracts & Vendor Management but will have a leadership role in all aspects of the negotiations and vendor management process, including an active role in M&A activities. This position will work with senior members of the corporate IT team, including the CIO, CISO, CTO, VP of HRIT and VP of Data and Analytics. This position will also work closely with the CIOs and their teams at Post’s operating companies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssert a leading role in supplier negotiation sessions as a contract management / supplier management team leadNegotiate with suppliers and collaborate with Post Legal Counsel and others to conclude Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, and order-form based terms and conditionsLead supplier selection processes in partnership with holding and operating company stakeholdersConduct contract reviews for holding and operating company IT contracts, including contracts for software, hardware, SaaS, network, data center hosting services, managed services / outsourcing, and deliverables-based projectsEliminate or mitigate supplier audit claimsNegotiate technology contract license disputesFormulate and propose alternative contracting / licensing optionsAssist with M&A due diligence and integration of transactionsConsolidate contracts across Post Holdings while still enabling spin-offs and divestitures of operating companiesQuantify impact of gaining or conceding various contract terms / sets of termsDeliver business team requests for supplier contracts and technology purchases in accordance with timeframes mandated by the needs of the businessPrepare presentations about Post supplier data analytic measures for the Chief Information OfficerManage monthly reportingUtilize managing tools such as Microsoft Suite, Zycus, Smartsheet, and Tableau

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 10 years of experience working with IT contracts and other complex legal documents, including at least 5 years of experience as a Lead IT Contract Negotiator for the enterprise5+ years for all IT categories including data center, desktop / laptop hardware, servers, software licensing / maintenance, SaaS, and cloud computing5+ years of experience in procurement of IT managed and outsourced services and deliverables-based projectsExperience in leading complex negotiations and vendor relationships with mega vendors (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, etc.)Proven ability to work both independently with little supervision, as well as part of a teamExcellent writing and oral presentation skillsComfortable with conflict and adept at problem resolutionProven, successful experience communicating and collaborating effectively across multiple corporate entities, both in the U.S. and Internationally in support of overall corporate goalsAbility to invent options (negotiation creativity)Location: Preferred St. Louis (which operates on a hybrid schedule). Potential for remote work for qualified candidates outside the St. Louis region.
