We participate in a Trauma Informed Integrated Care approach in order to create the best possible outcomes for our youth.About Us:McKinley is a non-profit organization serving our communities with education, social services, and counseling. We offer educational services in our non-public school where we work with local school districts to educate students with learning disabilities. We celebrate diversity by our commitment to cultivating an inclusive and affirming environment for all.A typical day includes:Promoting and assisting youth with self-help skills in the areas of nutrition, hygiene, and problem-solving.Willing to work a minimum of 10 hours a week.Modeling and supporting positive youth development and positive behavioral self-management through praise, mentoring, and attention.Facilitating psychoeducational groups on campus and out in the community.The ideal candidate for this role will possess
JUST ONE
of the following:Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or Child Development Teaching Permit; orCompletion of 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education; orPreviously been employed or volunteered at a group home or STRTP for at least one year; orValid certificate as an Alcohol Counselor, Drug Counselor or Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth; orHave relevant experience as determined by CDSS to meet any of the above requirements.Benefits of joining McKinley:Contributions towards Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.Paid Time Off.Paid Holidays.403(b) retirement plan with company match.Tuition Reimbursement (assist with graduate school cost if transitioning to full time).Employee Referral Bonus.What we offer:Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 hourly.Days: 4/10 work schedule with 3 days off each week.
