Req #1347Monday, August 12, 2024ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The requirement listed below are representative of the essential duties required of the Development Data and Operations Coordinator:Processes philanthropic gifts on a daily basis, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to Goodwill policies and procedures designed to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.Creates queries and reports from the Raiser’s Edge database for the direct mail program and other purposes.Prepares acknowledgement letters on at least a weekly basis that accurately reflect the gift and the giving history of the donor in order to ensure timely, personalized, and efficient stewardship.Generates and ensures accuracy of mailing lists as required for events, appeals, and communications.Maintains and improves the overall integrity of the database by updating records, merging duplicates, and entering new information provided by donors and staff.Maintains accurate paper and electronic fundraising files.Provides input to the Department’s data definition, management, and reporting processes.Assists with the state fundraising registration process, compiling documents for review and signature and tracking registration status.Works with the Finance Department on monthly reconciliation of donations.Answers phones and responds to questions from donors and other constituents in a professional and timely manner.Provides basic administrative services for the development and marketing departments such as assuring the availability of supplies, and serves as the backup for the executive administrator in the executive office.Exercises discretion and confidentiality in every aspect of the role.Other duties as assigned.LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:Employee makes decisions within clearly prescribed areas referring matters that fall outside that area to others.Employee recommends actions and alternatives to supervisor and others.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with two (2) years of related experience.A minimum of three (3) years of additional experience in database management in fundraising, sales, or a related field.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Capable interpersonal and customer service skills.Strong computer and database management skills required; knowledge of fundraising or sales management databases strongly preferred (knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong analytical skills and curiosity about data.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects.Some knowledge of the technical aspects of nonprofit fundraising such as donor identification, donor relations, and stewardship a plus.Experience with Acceptiva and/or Constant Contact a plus.Satisfactory results of all required background checks.BENEFITS:Vacation & Sick Time AccrualPaid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementRetirement Account MatchFlexible Spending Accounts
