A law firm located in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation cases, including construction defects, business and commercial litigation, real property disputes, employment litigation, contract disputes, and other civil matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting legal documents, managing discovery, conducting research, representing clients in court, and providing support through trial.Duties:
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.Manage discovery and handle all aspects of pretrial to trial.Conduct legal research and writing to support litigation efforts.Represent clients in court proceedings.Prepare for and provide support through trial.Specialized Matters:
Business and commercial litigation.Real property disputes.Employment litigation, including wage, hour, and PAGA litigation.Contract disputes and other civil litigation matters.Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience.Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in California.Skills:
Strong litigation skills with experience in various civil matters.Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.Ability to manage discovery and navigate pretrial to trial processes.Effective representation of clients in court proceedings.
