We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health - a leading medical facility in Athens, OH.
Responsibilities
Medical Director to lead a team of 3 Pediatric HospitalistsNewborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from homePediatric Hospitalists will perform circsPediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.Knowledge Exchange: Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
