to learn how our diverse and innovative team is helping connect, protect and power our planet.We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator that will be involved in almost all aspects of the operation of the facility. This position will be responsible for building maintenance, space planning, coordinating vendor activity, and more.RESPONSIBILITIES:Participation in construction projects, facilities planning, maintenance planning and new equipment installations of varying magnitudesManagement of routine maintenance of building systems (HVAC, compressed air, humidification, electrical distribution, building fire and life safety systems, and other support systems as needed)Corporate space planning to update seating and capacity modelsRoutinely interface with, manage and coordinate the activities of vendors such as security, mechanical, electrical, and janitorialManage the safety and environmental program for the site. This will include administration of permits, shipping of waste streams, and being the safety and environmental resource for the site as neededIssue purchase orders for site services and approve invoicing.Work closely with lab groups and site leaders to keep abreast of future developments requiring facilities supportA minimal amount (
QUALIFICATIONS:High level of proficiency in Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Exposure to, and the ability to learn maintenance software and other internal systems as needed. Experience with Autocad is a plus.The position will require the evaluation of new systems and equipment for implementation and the ability to look forward and identify future needs.Strong capability to write proposals, make presentations, and coordinate multiple tasksA working knowledge of basic safety standards, piping and electrical standards, and other fundamental industrial and mechanical standards is highly desirable.Background in project management and the ability to manage small to medium sized projects effectively is requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar roleBachelor’s degree in Project Management or other related field.Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $92,000 - $119,500, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo.
