This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading professionals and contribute to significant legal and business outcomes.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide expert legal counsel on various life sciences transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing agreements, and strategic partnerships.Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and transactional documents.Conduct due diligence and provide risk assessments related to life sciences transactions.Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop legal strategies that align with their goals.Assist in managing client relationships and providing exceptional client service.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments relevant to the life sciences sector.Support senior attorneys in preparing for and participating in meetings, negotiations, and other transaction-related activities.Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting in preparing proposals and presentations.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in California.A minimum of 2 years of experience in life sciences transactions or a related practice area.Proven track record of handling complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.CertificationsAdmitted to practice law in the state of California.Relevant certifications in life sciences or transactional law (e.g., Certified Specialist in Business Law) are a plus.SkillsStrong knowledge of life sciences regulations, industry standards, and transactional practices.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Proficient in analyzing and interpreting legal and business documents.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Strong research and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
