JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYJoin a well-established Family Medicine residency program aimed at creating the next generation of Family Medicine physicians to support the most rural of communities. The Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program provides outpatient, inpatient, obstetric and long-term care to patients in the Duluth, MN community. Lead the program’s residents and faculty through modeling professionalism and excellence in patient care.POSITION SPECIFICSDevelop and execute the strategic and operational plan for residency programOversee development and execution of quality curriculum, didactic and clinical educationOversee supervision, evaluation and promotion of residentsLead resident recruitment and selection through the National Residency Matching ProgramFulfill all Program Director duties as outlined in the ACGME program requirementsMaintain the program’s ACGME accreditation while upholding the program’s mission and valuesAct as a liaison with the hospitals, medical community, community agencies, educational institutions and teaching sitesConduct faculty recruitment, retention, development and evaluation. Supervise and mentor core faculty to ensure fulfillment of program mission and valuesMaintain and demonstrate clinical expertise through precepting and faculty clinical practiceREQUIREMENTS

ABFM certified and licensed or eligible for licensure in MinnesotaAt least three years of clinical experience in Family MedicineAt least three years of experience as a core faculty member at a residency programDemonstrated experience in leadership with experience in change managementLOCATION
