Technical Lead Engineer Palo Alto, CA

Job Summary:We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Platform Engineer to drive the development of our Gen AI for Healthcare SaaS platform. As a key member of our early engineering team, you'll be responsible for shaping the architecture, leading the engineering efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of our cutting-edge healthcare AI solution.Key Responsibilities:Define and implement the overall architecture of our AI SaaS platformLead the development of core platform services and ensure their seamless integrationWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practicesCollaborate with the team to create comprehensive technical documentationManage project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior engineersActively contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategiesRequired Qualifications:8+ years of relevant industry experienceProven experience as a Technical Lead responsible for directing the work of othersProduction experience at scale of a generative AI application or platformExpert proficiency in Python and solid skills in TypeScript or Java as well as some experience in a modern compiled language such as Go or RustDeep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIsExpert experience in one of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)Expert in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring toolsFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and project management toolsStrong familiarity with scaling tools such as Docker and KubernetesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skillsAble to work on site in our amazing offices in Palo Alto 3 days per weekNice-to-haves:Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)Some experience with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)Significant experience with GCP in particularFamiliarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js)Previous experience in the healthcare industryPay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is between $200,000 and $250,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
